Strategis Insurance opens a Dodoma point of sale

Strategis Insurance has officially opened its Dodoma outlet in a bid to expand its services to ensure more Tanzanians have access to insurance.

The launch was honored by the Deputy Minister for Public Service Management and Good Governance in the President’s Office, Deogratius Ndejembi, who was accompanied by the Deputy Commissioner of the Tanzania Insurance Regulatory Authority (TIRA) Khadija Issa Said, Strategis Insurance management team and other insurance stakeholders. .

The Deputy Minister commended Strategis Insurance for this great initiative and said the new outlet will allow more Tanzanians to easily access insurance.

“As we all know, Dodoma is the capital of our county and the whole government has already moved here. It is quite encouraging to see institutions like Strategis Insurance supporting the government in this process,” said Ndejembi.

He also praised Strategis Insurance for currently being the second largest private insurance company in Tanzania.

“Other insurance companies have to borrow a sheet from you because you were exceptional in delivering service,” he said.


He said it was encouraging to see how the company handled customer complaints in a short period of time and urged other companies to also adopt this style in order to meet customer expectations.

He commended Strategis Insurance’s decision to venture further into the non-medical insurance range in order to reach more customers who need various insurance services.

He also made a special appeal to the public to take out insurance at all times and avoid waiting for the time when disaster strikes, as this would avoid incurring losses after a disaster.

The Deputy Commissioner for Insurance, Khadija Issa Said, has pledged increased support to Strategis Insurance, saying the company is working well with the Tanzania Insurance Regulatory Authority (TIRA) to ensure customers get the best service.

“We had no complaints about your delivery and it proves your maturity in the industry as you continue to grow and expand across the country,” she said.

Strategis Insurance Group CEO Dr Flora Minja says they have every reason to be proud of their 20 year growth in the insurance industry hence the need to open more branches across the country to easily reach more Tanzanians.

“Right now we have outlets in Dar es Salaam, Mwanza, Zanzibar, Arusha and now Dodoma. The Dodoma point will be used to reach customers in neighboring areas and we will continue to expand based on demand,” said Dr Flora.

She said the insurance company is committed to investing more in technology to increase efficiency, especially in handling customer claims.
