Euclid Insurance Services, Inc. Launches New Program Manager to Meet Growing Surety Market Needs

Euclid Insurance Services, Inc. (“Euclid”), today announced that it has formed Euclid Caution LLC (“Euclid Safety”), a program manager who will draft contractual and commercial bonds throughout United States. Product offerings will include bid, performance, payment, maintenance and supply bonds as well as specialized bonds such as subdivision, rare earth and mineral regeneration, environmental closure / post-closure, waste transport and license and permit bonds. Euclid Surety to be led by industry veterans Paul Giordano and Charles cygal.

Mr. Giordano will be CEO of Euclid Surety, having served as CEO of Ironshore Surety Holdings, Inc., where he successfully led the construction of Ironshore surety company. Mr. Cygal will be the Director and Head of Underwriting of Euclid Surety. Most recently, Charlie was Chief Surety Officer at QBE North America and previously held the positions of Head and Head of Underwriting at Ironshore, AIG and Chubb. Along with Euclid, Paul and Charlie are shareholders of Euclid Surety. Operating from locations in the Northeast, South and Midwest, Euclid Surety will target mid-market entrepreneurs and other clients with unique bonding needs of 10 million dollars or less.

Euclid Surety is also pleased to announce that Messrs. Marc Valiquette and Robert Cubbin III have joined as assistant vice presidents and underwriters. Mark and Rob both bring extensive experience and market tracking to the team, having held senior underwriting positions at QBE North America and other prominent bond writers during their careers.

Surety bond requests can be submitted immediately to Euclid Surety Bond. Euclid has entered into a program management agreement to underwrite surety business on behalf of Developer Bond and Compensation Company and Corepointe Insurance Company, subsidiaries of AmTrust Financial Services, Inc., rated “A-” (excellent), FSC “XV”, stable prospect of AM Best, which together have a combination we Treasury limit of about $ 16 million.
