Apex Health Insurance, Ghana, has partnered with Liberty Health in South Africa, in a partnership to provide comprehensive health insurance services to the Ghanaian public, to support health care delivery .

The partnership, which was announced at a virtual launch on Wednesday, would offer the full line of Liberty Health Cover products that had been approved by Ghana’s regulatory authorities.

Through the partnerships, Liberty Health Cover products would now be available through Apex Health Insurance in Ghana, while Apex would provide a full range of products to meet the needs of multinational, corporate and small to medium-sized customers.

Mr. Godwin Fafali Setsofia-Tukpeyi, CEO of Apex Health Insurance, explained that from their perspective, “Apex Health Insurance has partnered with Liberty Health to meet the needs of Ghanaian residents for a range of benefit plans. social services that not only provide coverage in the country. but also offer access to international advantages.

He said many of their multinational clients as well as government agencies have expressed a need for coverage in several African countries, involving emergency evacuation, international intensive care services and more choices in elective treatment. international.

According to him, less than 50% of Africans had access to modern health facilities and which were made worse by the COVID-19 pandemic, leaving millions of people in desperate need of access to appropriate health care .

“The range of healthcare solutions available now provides increasing access to varying levels of comprehensive coverage for employees of multinationals, corporations and small businesses in Ghana, offering several choices to suit their budgets and needs,” he said. -he declares.
